Huawei HarmonyOS 6.0 Beta Released

Huawei has officially begun rolling out the HarmonyOS 6.0 beta, which has been generating excitement in the tech world. The company unveiled the new operating system’s features at a special event on October 22nd. It also launched the public beta program for select devices immediately.

How to get the HarmonyOS 6.0 beta?

For users who want to try the new software, the process is quite simple. Previous participants in the closed beta program can download the update directly from the Settings menu. However, those joining the test for the first time must register through the “My Huawei” app.

Huawei strongly emphasizes that this version is not a stable build. Users may encounter lag, power consumption issues, or various errors after installing the HarmonyOS 6.0 beta. Therefore, it is recommended that you back up your data before installing. It is also noted that at least 10 GB of free storage space is required.

Huawei has released the public beta to its flagship models first. The Mate 70, Mate 60, Pura 80, and Pura 70 series are among the first to benefit from this update. The list also includes foldable Mate X series phones and various MatePad tablets. Models that have and will receive the update
